Activities Committee

Job Description
The Social Activities Committee concerns itself with fostering and developing activities which provide fulfillment of Christian life among parishioners and with others. This is done with the intention to strengthen fellowship and integrate all facets of parish life.

The committee plans and provides opportunities for social events for members throughout the year.  Such events allow the opportunity to meet with and enjoy each others' company and to support the idea of community within the parish. These events, while under the supervision of the Activities Committee, are often aided by other parish organizations, depending on the event being  planned.

Among the specific events facilitated during the year by the Activities Commitee are the Annual Summer Bash, Christmas Party, and the Halloween Celebration.  In addition, the Activities Committee, again with the help from other parish organizations, provides social opportunities for parshioners following the celebration of particular Sacraments and other important events in our parish life.
